FLOAT SWITCH KIT

The FLOAT SWITCH KIT is an automatic pump shutoff that fits into the bottom of the water reservoir of your 24", 36", 48", JetStream™ 2400 or JetStream™ 1600, Portacool model to avoid the pump from running if the unit runs out of water.

The pumps in all Portacool models are water cooled and can be damaged if they are operated without water in the reservoir. Each time the pump runs without water it adds stress and over heating of the pump motor causing the pump damage and early replacement.

This easy to install solution will avoid problems if you forget to turn on your water hose for the day.  It fits in the bottom of your water reservoir and connects between the pump and the power supply. All models manufactured after 2015 already have this feature installed.
